WP-CRM System Updates: Notes and Email Add-Ons
Using different applications when working can be frustrating and confusing. Not only that but navigating several apps can be time-consuming. Here at WP-CRM, we know that our users value their time, and thus, we constantly provide updates on our CRM system features to help with efficiency and productivity.
Our clients asked for it, and we delivered. Our team has developed a new add-on wherein users can take notes on all WP-CRM System post types. Moreover, our clients can now send an email directly when editing a contact. The new emailing system is a workflow improvement over the existing feature. Now, users do not have to navigate away from the contact page to send an email.
Additionally, taking notes is easy and user-friendly as well, which is an exciting CRM system benefit. Users now have the option to either add a note when they edit a WP-CRM System post – either Contact, Task, or Opportunity, or you can also add it on the Notes page.
How to Install the New Plug-In
Installing the add-on is fairly simple in this new CRM system implementation. After users purchase the new add-on, they can download the file and install it on their site by following the steps below:
- On the “Add Plugins” page, click on the “Upload Plugin” button.
2. Simply activate the plugin and you should be good to go!
How to add the “Notes” Feature
After you have activated the plugin, you can add the new notes feature in two ways:
- Through the “Notes” page.
- Add it when editing the WP-CRM System posts.
Through the “Notes” Page
If you choose to add the new “Notes” feature through the Notes page, you can do it by navigating to the WP-CRM System -> Notes -> Add Note.
Next, click on the “Add New” button and you should be able to add the “Notes” feature there. To assign or attach the note, go to the button labeled “Attach To”. The drop-down supports a search function where you can simply find the post that you want to attach the current note into.
Through the “Edit” Page
Users can directly add their notes when editing a WP-CRM System post. Save the note and it will automatically be attached to the current post. This is a more user-friendly approach instead of navigating away from the “Edit” page.
Users also have the option to edit and dispose of the note on this page.
How to Use the New Email Tool
This add-on features a new email tool aside from the existing one. The difference between the two is that you can directly email your contact through the “Edit” page instead of navigating away from the page.
However, users have to take note that this feature will only work on the “Contact” page.
